The Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Division at Washington University is inviting interested US applicants to submit an application for a clinical research fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. The division of orthopaedic trauma at Indiana University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is looking for highly motivated medical student to complete a yearlong research fellowship. This successful applicant will work with a team of nine orthopaedic traumatologists, five full time research staff, statistician, as well as orthopaedic trauma fellows and orthopaedic surgery residents to conduct high quality orthopaedic trauma research. The division has active projects across all aspects of research from basic and translational science to retrospective clinical to prospective, single center to prospective, randomized, controlled, multicenter studies. The department of orthopaedic surgery at Tufts Medical Center is looking for a motivated medical student in between their 3rd and 4th year to join the department as a year-long research fellow. The department of orthopaedic surgery consists of 12 attending physicians who all hold academic appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to 12 attending physicians the department hosts a highly respected orthopaedic residency program made up of 20 residents as well as 2 hand fellows under the tutelage of our Chairman Dr. Charles Cassidy. Research will generally focus on clinical outcomes for sports medicine surgery patients with the opportunity to explore other orthopaedic surgery specialties. Research fellows will work under the direction of several sports medicine physicians: Dr. Vasilios Moutzouros (Detroit Pistons and Tigers), Dr. T. Sean Lynch (Detroit Lions) and Dr. Eric Mahkni (Detroit Lions).
