The Jackie and Randy Baker Research Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery is being offered by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. This program is designed to provide a one to two year mentored research experience in orthopaedic clinical science (hip preservation and total joint replacement).
The University of Virginia Orthopaedic Surgery Department is accepting applications for a paid Spine Fellowship position for 2024-2025. The goal of the research fellowship is to mentor medical students interested in orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Arun Aneja, at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking two highly motivated medical students (M1-M3) or unmatched M4 students/graduates, who are interested in pursuing clinical research fellowships in orthopaedic trauma surgery.
Are you interested in spending a year conducting research, achieving publication, and securing connections in the orthopedic surgical community? We are inviting third and fourth-year medical students who are interested in clinical and basic science research to help coordinate multiple projects, and to assist in data collection, analysis, and writing. The fellowship offers medical students who are interested in orthopaedic surgery as a career, a yearlong (blend of (70%) research and (30%) clinical) comprehensive musculoskeletal experience.

The Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute is recruiting a highly-qualified medical student for a clinical research fellowship with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery’s Trauma division. The research fellow will be involved in both prospective and retrospective clinical research projects, and will work as a member of a dedicated research team. Our trauma team conducts numerous studies associated with Major Extremity Trauma Research Consortium (METRC). The research fellow will work closely with orthopaedic trauma faculty on literature review, publication development, and IRB submissions and updates for multiple studies. The fellow will also work closely with attending surgeons and orthopaedic residents, maximizing their exposure to the field of orthopaedic surgery and enhancing their residency application. Fellows with also have the opportunity to attend orthopedic lectures, resident education, journal clubs, and Grand Rounds.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Medical Branch is inviting highly qualified and motivated applicants to apply for a one-year, paid research position in Galveston, TX with expected start date of May-June of 2024. A second year may be possible depending on funding and other factors; it is not guaranteed. This will provide an opportunity to gain research experience for successful application to an orthopaedic residency program.
