The latest news and positions openings about orthopaedic fellowships and orthopaedic fellowship programs.
The Carilion Clinic/Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine program currently offers two one-year fellowship positions. One position is ACGME accredited and achieved this recognition in 2012. Due to the high clinical volume, increasing faculty and abundant educational opportunities, we expanded the program to include a second non-accredited position in 2017. Both positions are filled through the SF match and treated with complete parity throughout the fellowship year. Leadership is provided by Dr. Benjamin Coobs as the program director and Dr. Murillo Adrados as the associate program director.
Post Match vacancy available for AY 2027-2028. Must be eligible for a Virginia Medical License. We will consider candidates who are eligible for a J-1 visa.

There are 89 graduates as of July 2022. While the brick and mortar have changed over the years, the faculty’s commitment to education and surgical training has not.
