The Benjamin Fox Orthopedic Research Scholar Award promotes clinical research by giving extraordinary U.S. medical students the opportunity to investigate pertinent topics in clinical orthopedic research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
This funded “year-out” scholar program is unique because it was specifically designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery. The successful candidate will dedicate a year to clinical research with CHOP orthopedic surgeons before either the third or fourth year of medical school.
