Orthopaedic Mailing Lists & Orthopod® Email Listserv

The Orthopod® Email Listserv is supervised by the Internet Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma (ISOST) as part of Orthogate.

Orthopod® is for orthopaedic surgeons, residents/trainees, allied health or orthopaedic industry professionals. It is NOT a patient forum.

The goals of Orthopod® are to:

• provide a high quality world-wide forum for academic discussion on orthopaedic surgery and trauma topics
• provide an information sharing service for basic science and clinical practice research
• be a discussion forum of contemporary issues, reports of relevant meetings, conferences, articles and publications
• not be a forum for single case reports unless these are supported by references to the literature
• liaise with the community on the services provided
• be subdivided into trauma and orthopaedics when the list size grows and the community requests it
• be a list that is accessed only by subscription and not be directly moderated
• archive discussion on the Internet for future use
