The Division of Adult Reconstruction of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University invites all qualified, interested, and motivated individuals to apply for a Clinical research fellowship position. This will be a 2-year salaried position that will begin on July 1, 2014. This research fellowship provides a great opportunity to work with distinguished faculty in the field of adult reconstructive surgery. The short term goal is to improve the chances of the applicant matching in to an Orthopaedic residency while the long-term goal is to develop skill sets to become a clinician-scientist.   At completion a fellow is expected to have the knowledge of all aspects of conducting a clinical trial from formulating a hypothesis to writing manuscripts.

We have an unexpected opening for a one full year spinal surgery fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, beginning August 2014. The fellow will obtain a comprehensive experience in adult spinal problems with emphasis on diagnostic techniques as well as surgical and non-surgical treatment. Experience is also available to treat pediatric deformity at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.  Research is required for completion.

The Orthopedic Trauma Program at IU Health Methodist Hospital has an opening for an unmatched applicant interested in an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship.  Ths program at IU Methodist hospital is a very busy service performing over 3000 cases per year, supervised by 6 felllowship trained orthopedic surgeons.  The service has a dedicated team of PA's and NP's who assist with hospital rounds, discharge planning, and ER consults.  We also have a very active research program faciilitated by two full time research assisatants.  Interested applicants can contact Nancy Hanni at This email address is being protected from spambots.
