The Center for Joint Preservation and Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital/ NorthShore LIJ invites all interested and qualified individuals to apply for an orthopedic research fellowship position with Jose A. Rodriguez, MD. This is a 2- year salaried position that will begin on August 1, 2014 and is open to all candidates who will be medical school graduates by that time, with a preference towards those who have additional training.

We have an unexpected opening for a one full year spinal surgery fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, beginning August 2014. The fellow will obtain a comprehensive experience in adult spinal problems with emphasis on diagnostic techniques as well as surgical and non-surgical treatment. Experience is also available to treat pediatric deformity at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.  Research is required for completion.

The Orthopedic Trauma Program at IU Health Methodist Hospital has an opening for an unmatched applicant interested in an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship.  Ths program at IU Methodist hospital is a very busy service performing over 3000 cases per year, supervised by 6 felllowship trained orthopedic surgeons.  The service has a dedicated team of PA's and NP's who assist with hospital rounds, discharge planning, and ER consults.  We also have a very active research program faciilitated by two full time research assisatants.  Interested applicants can contact Nancy Hanni at This email address is being protected from spambots. This funded “year-out” scholar program is unique because it was specifically designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery.
