The Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute (AORI) is seeking 2 ambitious medical students interested in pursuing a year-long clinical research fellowship. This unique position will allow the research fellow to gain valuable exposure to hip and knee replacements with attendings, fellows, and faculty at AORI. The research fellow will have opportunities to assist attendings with research projects, publications, and presentations at major orthopaedic conferences. Since one of the goals of the fellowship program is to help applicants prepare for an orthopaedic residency, priority will be given to students who are between their 3rd and 4th years of medical school

The Rothman Orthopedic Sports Medicine Division is seeking applications to fill two, year-long paid research fellowships beginning approximately in June 2025 at our Philadelphia and Southern NJ locations. The opportunity is uniquely designed for outstanding M3/M4 students currently enrolled in US medical schools and targeting a career in orthopedics.
Dr. Brett Owens and Dr. Stephen Marcaccio are seeking an ambitious 3rd-year medical student who is interested in a year-long fellowship in the field of sports medicine to strengthen his/her application for orthopaedic residency, expose the fellow to academic research, and enhance research skills. 4th-year medical students may also apply, but priority will be given to students between their 3rd and 4th years of medical school.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Pittsburgh-UPMC invites medical students between their third and fourth years along with pre-medical students (gap year between undergraduate and medical school) to apply for a one-year clinical research fellowship, starting in July of 2025.
The Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics at UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, OH is now accepting applications from qualified students for a one-year, paid, full time clinical research position. There are **two positions** available. Application deadline is February 28, 2025.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with Drs. Glotzbecker, Gilmore, Hardesty, Hollnagel, Liu, Mistovich, and Son-Hing, as well as the orthopaedic surgery residents. Areas of research include spinal deformity/scoliosis, neuromuscular disorders, bone/limb deformity, musculoskeletal oncology trauma, hand and upper extremity, as well as sports injuries.
