Yeah. I got the same thing yesterday. Thought the exact same thing. Makes me think this could be the case with a good number of programs. Kind of an unspoken waitlist of sort...... More and more people will dropping interviews here in the next few weeks due to date conflicts. I'm sure we'll see more and more "rolling invites."

Yeah just need the rockstar applicants that are currently taking 20-25 spots to realize they should let their "lesser" programs know they're not exactly planning on interviewing there. I'll be excited to given two weeks notice on an interview on the other side of the country.

If you guys don't mind me asking... were you offered a choice of three different dates (i.e. a new offer and an indication of 'rolling invitations') or just one date (i.e. specific interview date dropped by someone else)?

Obviously, I'm hoping that it's true rolling invitations, and that there's still a chance that they have a fair number of interviews to hand out...
