2010-11 Interview Offers

What's up with schools offering 1 day to interview? If I have to turn another program down because they all want to interview on the same day, I might lose it...

It's part of the process. To interview, you basically shut down an entire Orthopaedic Service (across multiple hospitals if the residency is set up that way), pull residents from all non-emergency clinical duties, pull attendings from all non-emergency clinical duties...

It's a way of screening applicants out. Sucks, but the same thing happens when it comes time to fellowship interviews.

yeah, I did on nov 9th.
