Hoppenfield helps in quick review of anatomy and gives good diagrams for understanding. But even I agree that it is too much for UG.

I agree with whoever said this above, buy Hoppenfeld's as soon as you decide you want to go into Ortho. If you are a med student and want to read up for cases, it's the first thing you should read. Ask the resident the day before which approach they will use in the case, find it in Hoppenfeld's and prepare for the anatomy that way. I, too, still use this book often as a chief.


I'm right there with you, one of the primary books from my education days that is still commonly referenced in the professional world.

Does anyone know what the online access for this book gets you? Does it simply give you an electronic version of the entire book or just some practice tests or more pictures/video?
