From the 2020-2021 cycle. All the programs listed here will get you good training. I broke it down into tiers because that helped me going through the process. Some of the “deficiencies” that I saw that differentiated programs: DA hip exposure, case volume (sweet spot seems to be >400 to get you sufficient experience), research infrastructure (plus/minus depending on how you feel about research), revision experience and autonomy.
Tier 1: Best all-around programs with minimal deficiencies
HSS
Rothman
OrthoCarolina
Mayo
Tier 1a: Great programs with some minor drawbacks
Duke
MGH
Rush
Cleveland Clinic
Utah
Brigham
Tier 2: Very good programs
Anderson Clinic
Stanford
Indiana
NEBH
Wash U
Western Ontario
Tier 3: Solid programs
UVA
NYU
Northwestern
Dartmouth
Brown
Rocky Mountain
Hoag
UCSF
UCLA
If I have some time later I can provide specific comments about the programs. This is just one person's opinion; please take it for what it's worth. I ended up matching in the tier 1/1a.

Went through the fellowship match this last cycle. Definitely thought it was more competitive than advertised so keep that in mind when applying gents. Good news it that there are a lot of good programs out there, fell down my list a bit but still very happy with match outcome. Helps to be at a residency with well connected faculty I think.
Agree with the general tier lists. Here were mine:
Top tier (not missing much):
Jefferson/Rothman
Mayo Rochester
HSS
Carolinas
Second tier:
Rush
Utah
Colorado/Rocky
Brigham
Very strong:
Cleveland Clinic
Anderson Clinic
Duke
NE Baptist
NYU
Not as good as in the past:
Mass Gen
Stanford
Wash U St Louis
I was looking for a combination of operative experience, volume, name, revision, anterior hips, location, robotics/nav in about that order so my opinion reflects that. I also think that while individually opinions vary here and there most unbiased people would agree on what the top few spots are since they're the places with the names, volume, history, and case mix
Lastly, its nice to see more ladies going into recon. More than I expected given the known demographics.
Congrats to all who matched and look forward to seeing you all at meetings..
