Ramrod- I have not been given any advice on this. The guys I know who went on interviews last year went on 10-15, but all ended up matching within their top 2-5 (so they say...). I'm probably going on a similar number, not out of fear of matching, but to get a sense of as many programs as possible to better educate myself for the decision making process.

My hospital does not have a fellowship, but maybe the guys who are at those programs can shed some light on this after talking to their F&A attendings... How many applications are in the pool this year? US vs foreign?

Has anyone heard from Idaho?
