So if you havent gotten an invite yet, but havent gotten a rejection either, what does that mean?!?!?! Do i email the program?!?...especially for programs that have either sent out rejections or sent out invites a while ago?!?!

Unfortunately I've heard that these so-called "silent rejections" are quite common. At this point if the program has sent out invites and you have not received one I'm sure and email won't necessarily hurt you but who knows how much it will help. You probably aren't high on the list for them and perhaps emailing and showing interest is worth something. If you look at the invite thread you can see that a growing number of programs are now done with interviews. Looking at my own list of where I applied there are about 10-15 that I have heard nothing from but that will be dont with all interviews by the end of the week.

Programs could at least have the decency to send a rejection.

It doesn't help that some applicants are still triple booked for interview days either. They need to come up with a better system so that people can't hoard interviews like they do....
