I feel like whether you think the "train is slowing down" depends on where you applied geographically. seems like some regions are much earlier than others, based on a cursory glance at the invites thread.

waitlist 1 confirmed, a lot others have sent both interviews and rejections but i haven't heard from them so assuming i'm wait-listed.

Agreed that it seems to have slowed down a bit in the last 1.5 weeks, hoping for it to pick up again in the near future! In looking at last years threads it seems that late November/early December was a hot time.

Glad I applied broadly because the offers have been so random. Rejected from lots of local places and invited to places where I never thought I would be considered. Lots of great programs are yet to invite. Good luck to all!
