The Division of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute invites medical students to apply for a funded one-year clinical research fellowship, starting in the summer of 2021. The Shoulder and Elbow service at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute values superior patient care, excellence in education, and research productivity. In line with these goals, we are seeking driven and self-motivated students that are interested in pursuing a career in Orthopaedic Surgery. Preference will be given to students who have completed their 3rd year of medical school. The opportunity requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of individuals, and elite-level organizational skills.
The Division of Sports Medicine at Keck Hospital of the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, invites highly motivated medical students and medical school graduates to apply for a funded clinical research fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, for the academic year 2021-2022.
The Dell Medical School Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care Value-Based Health Care Summer Research Internship provides an accepted or currently enrolled medical student with experience working closely with leading Surgery and Perioperative Care faculty on clinical and/or health services research projects on a full-time basis over the course of an 8-12 week period. The Dell Medical School Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care Orthopaedic Value-Based Health Care Fellowship gives medical students an extraordinary opportunity to learn about and investigate topics relevant to value based health care payment and delivery models through first-hand exposure to the UT Health Austin Musculoskeletal Institute. The Institute opened in October 2017 and provides an innovative, multidisciplinary, team-based approach to delivering musculoskeletal care for a wide range of patients including vulnerable, high needs and underserved populations.
The Fellow will work with Department faculty on research projects related to the design, implementation, and dissemination of value-based care models, outcome measurement (including the effect of interventions on patient-reported outcomes), costs of care, impact of psychosocial aspects in musculoskeletal illness, advances in shared-decision making and patient-provider engagement, and the application of digital health solutions.

Dr. Stephen K. Aoki invites 3rd and 4th year medical students interested in orthopaedic surgery to apply for a one-year sports medicine research fellowship. At this time, we are only considering students from United States accredited MD programs. This is a full-time, paid position with the University of Utah. This fellowship is focused on pediatric and adult hip and knee research. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with an anticipated decision in February/March 2022. Early applications are encouraged.
RUSH Orthopaedic Research Fellowship – Dr. Shane Nho - 2021-2022

This opening is for a one-year, paid position as the hip arthroscopy research fellow for Dr. Shane Nho at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush beginning June 1st 2021. This opportunity affords a unique experience in high volume orthopedic research and offers a full immersion into the field of academic orthopedics.
Position Title: Clinical Research Assistant (RA)
Duration: 1 year (option for second year)
Where: Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University Medical Center, Sports Medicine. Chicago, IL.
Who: US medical students between M3/M4 interested in Orthopedic Surgery. Only USA students will be considered (we are unable to support visa requirements).
