Position Title: Spine Research Fellow

Fellowship Description
As a full-time research fellow, you will play an integral role in high-impact clinical and translational spine research. You will gain exposure to all stages of the research process while working closely with Pavilion Spine Attendings, research staff, and clinical fellows. Fellows have the opportunity to:

Design and execute retrospective and prospective clinical studies

Prepare and submit IRB protocols

Draft and revise manuscripts for publication

Perform statistical analyses (familiarity with software such as SPSS, R, or STATA is helpful but not required)

Collaborate with medical students, residents, fellows, and international research partners
-
Present research at national and international spine conferences
-
Observe spine surgery and clinics and attend weekly academic activities (e.g., Grand Rounds, Journal Club)
Ideal Candidate
-
Recent medical school graduate (U.S. or international) OR gap year medical student
-
Strong academic record and genuine interest in orthopaedic or neurosurgical spine care

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated commitment to research, with excellent time management and communication skills

Prior research or publication experience is preferred but not required

Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
