General Information
- 10-12 month duration, start date June 1, 2026.
- Organize and run weekly research department meetings that cover updates on all ongoing projects
- Data collection of ongoing and novel research projects
- Consenting patients for clinical trials
- Ensuring follow up of clinical trial participants
- Manuscript writing
- Novel project development and synthesis
- Coordinate efforts for projects between team members (medical students, residents, and fellows)
- Rotation as a Sub-I on the Denver Health Orthopaedic Trauma rotation with current University of Colorado orthopaedic residents
- Participation in fracture conference, grand rounds, educational sessions, journal clubs, and social events through the University of Colorado Orthopaedic Residency, allowing the Research Intern to form relationships with University of Colorado faculty, attendings, and residents.
- Full time position, minimum salary $50,000.
- Reports to Dr. Adam Schlauch, Director of Orthopaedic Research and attending trauma surgeon at Denver Health / Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery for University of Colorado Orthopaedic Residency
- Will be directly involved in Orthopaedic Trauma and Hand/Upper Extremity research
- Expectation is to handle at least 30-40 projects throughout the year
