Exactech Inc. (NASDAQ:EXAC) was upgraded by Zacks Investment Research from a “hold” rating to a “buy” rating in a note issued to investors on Wednesday. The firm presently has a $31.00 price objective on the stock. Zacks Investment Research’s price objective suggests a potential upside of 13.51% from the stock’s current price. According to Zacks, “Exactech, Inc. develops, manufactures, markets and distributes and sells orthopedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation and biologic services to hospitals and physicians in the United States and internationally.

This compares to a net loss of $10.44 billion, or $0.39 per diluted share for the same period in 2015. 2. At the end of the quarter, the company had $41.63 million in cash and cash equivalents. 3. A gain in the derivative warrant liability of $595,000 positively affected the company's second quarter results. However, a loss in the deferred warrant liability of $4.65 million negatively impacted the second quarter 2016 results. 4. The company's adjusted net loss per diluted share totaled $0.18, compared to $0.21 in the second quarter of 2015.

The proposed payment arrangement compensate providers for an episode of care during an inpatient stay and up to 90 days after a discharge, not for the individual components of care. 2. DePuy Synthes believes it can support the hospitals in 67 metropolitan areas that may have to expand Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement models to include hip fracture patients.
