Educational Objectives
 
Following this conference, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the most salient issues in geriatric trauma today
  • Determine the appropriate role non-orthopaedic specialists provide in the care of the geriatric trauma patient
  • Describe latest techniques and tools available for fixing fractures in the geriatric patient
  • Define ways that bone health can be determined and fortified post-fracture
