Does anyone have any information on when there might be a new edition of Coughlin, Mann, and Saltzman Surgery of the Foot and Ankle? The eight edition e-dition seems like a great thing to have, but costs about $450. I would hate to buy this great two-volume set (2006) and have a new edition of the texts become available next year.

It seems that e-dition would allow for online "updates" of sorts. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm a poor med student.

Thanks.

Replied by on topic you can get it off
you can get it off synthes resident site...I would wait till I become a resident and get it for free....unless you are a podiatrist....you wont need such a detailed subspecialty book for a couple years into your residency....
