So consensus is - if you have the 3rd edition, there is no reason to update to the 4th?

Correct. You will do just fine with the 3rd edition as a junior resident.

Nothing dramatic has changed in initial fracture care since the 3rd edition came out. I still refer to it for the radiographic angles, etc.
