What tends to be the avg COMLEX score for people that match ortho? I keep hearing 550 and above is competitive for most residencies, but I'm assuming 600+ since ortho is so competitive. Also, my DO school has several rotation cores, I'm torn between either going to a major hospital system that is also affiliated with an allopathic medical school that also has a lot of residency programs vs going to a smaller hospital system where I know students are getting to scrub in on the first day, 1st assist and so forth. Does it matter where core rotations are done? Thanks.
