I'm too lazy to post details on these programs but honestly I think location and program structure will drive most people's decisions. Individual programs are listed in no particular order. Others may have different opinions.
-Rush: very academic, high volume, high expectations, good mentorship, medium sports coverage, great shoulder and cartilage experience
-HSS: large, significant team coverage, high expectations, limited mentorship, variable experiences
-Vail: high volume, high fellow to attending ratio, good mentorship, no pro coverage, research there if you want it, need to be okay with location
-ASMI: super high volume, high autonomy, not academic, significant team coverage
-Orthocarolina: great mentorship, high volume, less academic, great shoulder experience, easy team coverage
-Pitt: medium volume, very academic, significant team coverage
-Duke: great mentorship, lower volume, very academic, significant team coverage
-UVA: medium volume, significant team coverage, research there if you want it
-Rothman: high volume, limited mentorship, fairly academic, medium team coverage
-Emory: medium volume, good mentorship, less academic, significant team coverage
-KJOC: huge program, limited mentorship, significant team coverage, high volume but mixed autonomy
-Stanford: lower volume, good mentorship, medium team coverage, research there if you want it
-UConn: medium volume, good mentorship, easy team coverage, research there if you want it, possible restructuring in the future
-MGH: medium volume, good mentorship, medium team coverage, research there if you want it
-Lenox Hill: high volume, limited mentorship, significant team coverage, less academic
-UCSF: medium volume, good mentorship, easy team coverage, less academic
