AANA Junior Resident Course was created by orthodoc
To all junior residents. AANA has a great course that they offer once or twice a year at the learning center in Chicago. It is designed for junior residents to learn how to scope on cadaver shoulders and knees. I participated as an Associate Master Instructor during the course this Spring and feel that this course is a great opportunity for most residents with limited arthroscopic exposure. You can check out the course description at

Just finished up helping teach this course again. It is now offered three times a year and is extremely valuable for a PG2 or PG3. I would recommend that if you have time for a three day weekend hands on lab, check this one out. It is now becoming a requirement at a variety of programs across the nation.
