ABOS part one

I just learned I failed part one of boards. Feeling quite lost as to the next steps and options. Can anyone offer advice or experiences?
How does this affect job prospects?
Am I still board eligible?
What happens if I fail again?

I know people who have failed. It did not seem to affect job prospects at all.

You are not board eligible if you failed part 1. You become BE if you pass but if you failed you are not.

Failing again probably has no added consequences other than having to take this dreaded test over again. I think other than the time and effort there are virtually no real adverse consequences.
