Hello all,

Start intern year a month ago and I am confused as to how I should organize myself.

I ended up doing this:
1. Printed out orthobullets and filed the sections into 8 different major chapters.
2. Id start for example with trauma in orthobullets printed file, use a trauma reference textbook and add notes.
3. I am hoping to add articles, exam qs, any pearls from wards and OT to the specific chapter.
4. And then revise a trillion times prior OITE

I am subscribed to the Core curriculum schedule and exams in orthobullets which sends you emails everyday to cover certain topics and send you mcqs as well.

Now, I feel orthobullets is not for someone setting foundation. Or I am too anxious and need to make sure I am not missing anything!

What shall i do? Shall I purchase major text books and then divide them into sections and finish them off in 6 months? and then revise the other 6?

What was your study strategy in intern year for OITE? What do you recommend?

I hope this thread would help the current and future interns as well.

Sorry your message didn't get a response before. I'm entering intern year and was hoping you could give an update on anything you found helpful since your last post and what strategy you took, resources used, etc. Thanks in advance!

Where/how did you obtain MCQs other than orthobullets (like SAEs)?
