General Ortho Job

Hi,

Nearing the end of residency....would like a general ortho job. Any advice about how to go about this? Have heard nightmares about recruiters. Ideally in Michigan or in the midwest. Any advice? Not sure yet on hospital employeed vs. private.

Check out the AAOS career center on AAOS.org. Login and look under member services. That would be the best place to start. You can upload your CV and set email alerts for when new jobs in your geographic location of choice are posted.

I would suggest that you call and/or send a CV/cover page to groups in the areas that you would like to live whether or not they are listing positions.
