Our research team has an immediate opening for a motivated, enthusiastic person who wants to learn about hands-on orthopaedic research and have the opportunity to add to their CV. This will involve a minimum of 20 hour per week of assistance in various ongoing projects in implant retrieval and implant biomechanics. There will be the possibility, after the first three months of training, to develop the work into manuscript driven research. The basic requirements are a degree in the biological or engineering sciences and a high degree of common sense and enthusiasm for the work. This is an unfunded position but previous candidates have found it very worthwhile in terms of publications,experience and networking.
