I am in desperate need of help or advice, I was in my fourth year of residency when I developed a substance addiction, I went to 3 months of inpatient treatment and upon completing treatment I was told my contract for my last year would not be renewed. My program director/chairman will not even reconsider his decision. I dont know what to do at this point. I had one year of training left to complete and now he is telling me I just should go back through the match. Please if anyone has any advice I would much appreciate it.
