How to decide on a subspecialty?

How did you decide on your subspecialty in orthopaedics? I am nearing the deadline to decide between 2 fields and wanted to hear how others in the same situation tackled this monumental task.

First off, you need to decide what type of practice you want to be in. Do you want to only work within your subspecialty in a large group/academic practice or are you will to do gen ortho in addition to your subspecialty? Then you need to figure out if that specialty will make you a more attractive job applicant depending on your choice. You have to love the bread and butter of whatever specialty you choose.

How did you decide your subspecialty in orthopaedics? im helping someone on that kind of situation also. he said that he likes into a big groups of subspeciality.
