While I haven't studied a page while traveling to Southern California on vacation, I did hear a recommendation that Salter's book of Ortho was a good place to start for an intern. I bought the book online from amazon--it looks pretty basic, exactly what i need. Just my 2 cents. Hopefully I will get to review it a little before the 28th...but I probably will just cram during the first few weeks.
I was an anatomy TA last fal (as I'm sure many of us were) Netter is still good even if the surgical field will never be that clean. It helps give that foundation, especially if we're feeling rusty...which I think i will be. No doubt Hoppenfeld's is necessary for learning approaches and the related anatomy, but I think netter is great for a quick review when we're starting out.
