Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Training Program in New York City has an opening for an entry level orthopaedic surgery resident beginning July 1, 2010.

Individuals who have completed, or will have completed their PGY-1 surgical internship year by June 30, 2010 and who are interested in securing an orthopaedic surgery residency position, should send a copy of their curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and available USMLE scores to:

The topic of this post seems misleading. Is there a position open for someone as an intern? Otherwise saying there's a PGY-1 position ss just a tease.

My undertstanding is that this is a categorical PGY-1 position that is outside the match that only accepts people if they have done at least one year of Prelim.
