Perfect Elective Rotation???? was created by thetoes
hey all.

i am in the awesome position to do an elective away rotation. as a pgy 4 in the east coast, i would love to do some HIGH OPERATIVE stuff either with a sports or a joints group.

Anyone have an idea of a group that would take me for an away elective for a few months, where i would get a chance to do a ton of operating (a potentially tough goal, i admit) with either discipline? east coast would be nice, but i would be happy to go anywhere...

pms or posts would be so appreciated.

I would vote for an overseas volunteer rotation...you have the rest of your life to operate.

not to mention I think it may be difficult to get malpractice coverage at some semi-random group.

Look at Orthopedic Overseas, a recent Rush grad is going all over the world right now, we were in Africa together.
