I read Miller twice and did a million questions. Actually closer to around 2,500, all AAOS Self Assessment Exam questions, though old OITEs would serve the same purpose. I just liked the SAE questions better, more bread and butter stuff, less esoteric nonsense which I thought would better represent the real exam. Didn't read the new OKU, though pretty much read the entire OKU 8 over the course of residency. Started studying kinda casually around February, turned it up in May. Hardcore (8-10 hrs/day) the last 3 weeks or so. Also went to Miller course in May and the one day AAOS refresher course the day before the exam in Chicago. Never blew the OITEs out of the water (30-50th percentile) but felt extremely well prepared for the exam and I'm not at all worried about passing. Of course, I may be singing a different song once scores come back next month
