Does anyone know of any good professional medical author blogs? Iâve seen quite a few professional blogs, but not many specifically for authors. Maybe Iâm just not looking in the right places.
I recently found Lippincottâs Author Blog (

). You can ask the authors just about anything. The authors also provide some insight on the inspiration for their publications and their creative and editorial processes. I didnât think they would be, but the authors are very responsive. One of the entries is on 5-Minute Clinical Consult 2008 by Frank Domino. He relates a personal experience having surgery, recovering, etc., and how it inspired his new video series. A video on steroid injection is viewable on the blog.
Anyway, if anyone knows any other good, credible ones out there, please let me know.
