Article on resurfacing

There's an article in the NYT about the "new" option of hip resurfacing for younger patients; it's kind of interesting to read how the media approaches it so I thought I'd post it:

peoples opinion vary, especially older surgeons who were burned with all the problems of previous generations of resurfacing. Take what your local sales rep tells you with a grain of salt

I love it how orthopedics reinvents the wheel every 20 years.

"ohh, but we have fixed all those problems, this generation wont have those issues"
