Replied by on topic I am using the same
I am using the same stuff you did. I am also getting 55-60 % on UW. Can you please PM any pointers.
All the anes, gen surg, er residents i have talked to did the same and passed without a problem. i wonder if Day 2 of the exam is where they had an advantage.
PS Breakaleg--I'm sure this guy had no trouble passing 1 or 2 if he is an ortho PGY1. What happened to him could have happened to anyone. It could happen to me so I appreciate the Post onlyortho, thanks

Replied by on topic i used boards and wards
i used boards and wards and crush step 3 in a half-assed, kind of studying between call nights way. i thought the test was hard, but passed with no problem.
highly rec going over 1) primary care-type hypertension (more than lopressor), 2)ob-gyn (i had a LOT of ob questions) and 3)peds. also, do the CD a couple of times. it can get you if you don't remember things like changing the pt's location or pulse-ox, hold pressure on bleeding, etc (you have to actually order everything you would do.)
good luck.
