trauma, spine out rotations was created by js
I am a looking to set up some out rotations in spine and trauma for 1-2 mo each. I can go pretty much anywhere and was wondering if anyone had any specific recomendations or advice on either places to go or avoid.

As mentioned above - WVU is a good place for spine becuase
of Dr. Emery who was a spine attending at Case until a few years
ago and is amazing to work with. Plus they get a lot of trauma,
I interviewed there and thought it was a very well rounded program.

You should also consider Case - I don't know how outside
rotations work but its worth looking into. University Hospitals
has an amazing spine group - they are also affliated with MetroHealth
which is truma central for that entire area. Look up bonejock
for more info into that - he's one of the more senior residents
there.

I'm in Detroit which has a bunch of truma - but not as well
known for spine. So it might be easier to travel to one location
that has awesome programs in both so ur not moving around
a bunch.
