joint work was created by arthropathy
i am a medical student looking for a residency program that is very strong in joint surgery and research - areas like tka, tha, arthroscopies, mosaicplasty, act's, etc.

can anyone comment on programs that are particularly good in this area. it does not necessarily have to be at a highly ranked large institution. just somewhere where i can get excellent training and have research opportunities in this area.

thanks

Replied by on topic It would be uncommon not
It would be uncommon not to have good exposure to joint replacement surgery at programs. It is basically the bread and butter of most general orthopedists. Now if you are looking for great exposure to complex revision cases, then you may need to pick your residency carefully, however, you can make up for that by doing a fellowship in adult reconstruction.
