The Ranawat Orthopaedic Research Foundation is seeking a candidate for a clinical research assistant position at the Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC.
This is a 2- year salaried position ($40+K/yr with benefits).
This position presents an excellent and unique opportunity to work with Dr. Chitranjan S. Ranawat, a world-renowned orthopaedic surgeon in the field of hip and knee reconstructive surgery, at the most prestigious facility that is constantly ranked number one in orthopaedics.
Responsibilities:
1.Collection, analysis and management of a joint reconstruction data base.
2.Assist in study design and IRB communications.
3.Preparation and completion of clinical research projects including manuscripts, articles and book chapters.
4.Organize meetings including abstracts, posters, PowerPoint presentations and educational videos.
5.Literature search to obtain articles, citations, and other published information related to the research projects.
6.Screen and recruit new patients for the study projects.
Preferred candidates are, Pre-meds, graduate students or medical graduates with good communication and proof reading skills, with a strong statistical background.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
