Sports Medicine & Adult Reconstruction Fellowship

(1) One-Year Position available 8/1/2012-7/31/2013
The Cleveland Clinic Florida Department of Orthopedics is pleased to offer a one-year combined Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction fellowship. Under the supervision of Gregory Gilot, M.D., Preetesh Patel, M.D., Brian Leo, M.D., Jeffrey Wu, M.D., David Westerdahl, M.D., Daniel Grobman, D.O., and Juan Suarez, M.D., this fellowship offers an outstanding diversity of experience in all areas of sports medicine, and adult joint reconstruction. Fellows will be exposed to current arthroscopic and reconstructive hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow procedures, as well as, minimally invasive and minimal incision total hip, knee, and shoulder reconstruction including reverse and resurfacing techniques. The group provides care for Division I collegiate athletes and local high school teams. Participation in academic activities of the department and completion of at least one publishable research project are expected. There are multiple research opportunities available.
The fellowship requirements include completion of an Orthopedic residency training program and obtaining a Florida Medical License.
