Position: Full-Time Clinical Research Assistant to Dr. Benjamin Domb
Location: Hinsdale Orthopaedics and the American Hip Institute; Chicago, IL
Description: Dr. Domb runs a successful sports medicine practice in addition to an active research foundation focusing on sports medicine and arthroscopic hip surgery. As a clinical research assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining an extensive surgical database as well as assisting with the formulation and writing of research studies. This position offers the opportunity to be a co-author on a number of peer-reviewed journal publications and orthopaedic meeting presentations. It also offers excellent exposure to a successful clinical practice and the field of sports medicine through the work environment as well as shadowing opportunities. 100% of previous interns have successfully gained admission to medical school, and have published scientific articles which have helped launch their careers. The job duration is one year, beginning in the summer of 2017 and includes a $10,000 stipend.
