Importance of pre interview event

What does everyone thing think about this? I understand that each program probably weighs resident input differently -- but are other applicants out there skipping these events to attend more interviews?

As a current resident, my opinion is that a pre-interview event probably isn’t going to make or break you. Residents comments are generally most useful for those who have done clinical rotations. Your interests are probably best served by scheduling as many interviews as possible.
