Post-interview contact was created by sims
I don't think there was a thread for this year yet (and this one may be somewhat early), but has anyone been contacted by any programs they've interviewed at so far?

I got a "thank you for interviewing" letter from Mayo Clinic. It seems relatively generic. Did everyone else get this?

Replied by on topic Iowa - Thank you email
Iowa - Thank you email from Dr. Buckwalter. Sent through ERAS. Pretty sure it was to all who interviewed.

Penn State - ditto above from Dr. Black.

Give it a little more time. I got the same letter just two days ago, and while it is a nice sentiment (first program with which I've interviewed to make such a gesture), it doesn't say anything that would lead me to believe that recipients of the letter are "in".

Replied by on topic The Mayo letter means nothing
The Mayo letter means nothing as to your status of being "ranked to match." If you are ranked within their top 12, you will receive a personal phone call. I don't know if more than one person makes the call, but I received my call from the assistant program director.

In regards to Iowa, if you are ranked within their top 6, you will receive a personal call(s) from Dr. Buckwalter.

I don't remember the exact dates of when I received these calls, but I remember Iowa was earlier than Mayo. There are also other programs that make personal calls, and some are as late as the Monday immediately prior to Match Day.

I assume you mean you received a call from Mayo during last application cycle right?
