A similar thread was started about this time of year last year with a decent amount of success. So, figured we could resurrect it for the 2011 match process. Keeping with last years format I'll start it up.

Total Apps: 60
Programs applied who have offered interviews: 27
Rejections: 2 (OSU, Wake) - Didn't want to go there anyway
Interviews: 13 (1 from away at Iowa)
Waitlisted: 0

Stats: Step1 250ish Step2 NA (take Dec 1), not AOA, ortho research (1 pub, 2 presentations, 2 abstracts) 1 non-ortho pub (cardiology), mostly honors in pre-clinical and clinical courses/rotations.

B4B out

Total Apps: 70
Programs applied who have offered interviews: 14
Rejections: 3 (Wake, UNC, Yale). Thanks, New Haven.
Interviews: 4
Waitlisted: 0
AOA: Senior
Publications: A few publications, a handful of abstracts, a chapter.
Letters: 3 orthopods from 3 instititutions; 1 medicine (universally sent)

The other things we should track on this forum (not necessarily this thread) are:
1) Which schools only interview rotators.
2) Which schools guarantee rotators an interview.

Don't forget to set your clocks back.

Note to B4B: Of 38 programs that have released interviews, you applied to 27 of them. Is this strategic? I'm partially kidding, partially curious; the latter because it would make sense if you applied to 100 schools, but you only chose 60.
