2010-11 Interview Offers

Has anyone else experienced a latency between the generation of ERAS messages and their delivery, either to the ERAS mailbox or a forwarded mailbox (e.g. GMail)?

This is curious. I check my ERAS mailbox at 2PM. There are no new messages. I get a text at 530PM notifying me that an e-mail with "Interview" has arrived in my GMail inbox, and the timestap on it is 6AM.

So of most concern is the fact that the message is generated at 6AM and arrives in my ERAS mailbox 6 hours later. I know this latency is real because the slots are often filled despite expedient responses on my behalf.

Yes, I have had this happen on one of the interview invites I got. I was able to get my second choice date, but missed the first despite responding immediately after I got the email. Don't know how to fix it..but it's annoying...
