Interview Rejection Thread 2009-2010

nah.. most places are 10 to 1 to 6-1 ratio of applicants to positions...at least it seems that way.. Rotators are on common ground usually (as they come back for interviews).. meaning their shot is 10-1 too (yes, they may have a better chance because they rotated there.)

It seems like Georgetown told everyone that... the 3 ppl I know from my school that applied there all got the same letter (including me)

UNC 11/03/2009 handed me my first official rejections just a few minutes ago.
'They are sorry that there are too many competitive applicants and their program is very competitive so they could not offer me an interview.'
Knew it all along though. They did not offer my fiancee, with very high scores and class rank applying to internal med, an interview.
