Rejection Thread 2008-2009

Kind of cold.

I regret that we are not able to extend an invitation to interview at this
time. Unfortunately, there were many excellent ERAS applications, with too
few spots to fill. We hope for you the best of luck as you enjoy the

Sorry to start the blubber train, but we are all in this together. I am sure everyone which match somewhere it just really sucks going through this right now.

U Pittsburgh - 11/20

Funny, I turned down the Pitt interview about a month ago and then they sent me a rejection email today.

SUNY Downstate - 11/19
"you have not been selected for an interview at this time, however, there is a possibility that we will be adding to our interview roster at a later date. In the event that an interview slot opens up, we will contact you to see if you are interested and available to come to campus."

I just turned down my Downstate interview. Maybe you'll get it. Good luck!

That was so painful to turn it down, since I have nothing else scheduled on the date, but their email is adament if you're not 100% sure about attending the interview, don't RSVP.
