Interview Offers Thread 2008-2009

Has anyone else had this experience with Banner Good Sam- went through preliminary phone interview, received email about 1 week later which seemed to indicate they wanted you to come for an interview on January 23 and also set up another phone converstation for dec. 29 or 30. Then, when you spoke with them on the phone, they indicated they were not going to offer you an interview? Just curious, because I had this very unusual experience with them.

Strange. All I know is Banner does a lot of up front work on interviews and only end up physically interviewing 10-12 people total. The official invitation came in the form of an email outside the phone calls. I'd check the email to be sure it said something along the lines of "we're inviting you to interview with us on Jan 23rd".

Either way, that's strange. I'd follow-up with an email or call to make sure you correctly understood them. They may interview you afterall if they understand how truly interested you are in the program. Good luck.
