Why does this thread exist? You either get a letter/phone call, or you don't... Any communication received should have no bearing on your decision making. All you are doing is feeding your own/others neuroticism.

I think that it is fun to hear about these things. Also someone above (tarsalcoalition) specificially asked about correspondances from that list of programs he/she posted.
